Sharp R890SLM 900W 26L Combination Microwave with Double Oven Review

This is a good quality user-friendly oven. It is also quiet in operation. The operating program is simplicity itself because the information window tells you what to do next. When not in use the unit turns off completely so there is no glowing digital window using energy.

The oven vent is out of the way at the back of the oven, not on top like some, although the top of the case does get warm in use so you cannot store on top of it. The turntable is enamelled metal so no worry about breaking an expensive glass plate. The timing is set with a rotary knob so no stabbing at different keys or correcting pre-set time increments.

We like that the door has a handle, the push tab release got cranky on our last microwave. So far we are very pleased with our purchase. This is a better value and easier to use oven than the more expensive R86STMA model and it has a more durable control panel. This oven is suitable when cooking for a small family.

Sebo X1.1 Automatic Upright Bagged Vacuum Cleaner Review

I’ve owned a Sebo before but sadly my ex gained custody of it 7 years ago. Since then I have had a Dyson, which broke after 6 years (so not bad all considering) after which I purchased the Vax Mach 1. The Vax “sucked”, so I have given up on it and purchased another Sebo. I chose this over the Dyson as while Dysons also clean well, they seem more cumbersome than Sebo and are not as well built in my opinion. On board tools on the Sebo are much easier to use is it is more compact, fitting in my cupboard space with ease. Yes you have to buy bags for the Sebo but there is no loss of suction as air filters through the bag from the sides, not the base.

The best bit is the motorised head that automatically adjusts to different floor types and the powerful suction plus the rotating brush deals with everything a dirty floor can throw at you. In fact you turn the thing on and you can almost feel it straining at your hand desperate to clean the floor. When finished, and if necessary, the rotating brush can easily be removed for cleaning, which is useful as all in the house have long hair.

So in a nutshell, this is a great buy and I am thoroughly enjoying cleaning again, which is quite sad really!!
